Instructions for Pool Noodle Pom Pom Shooters
Prepare the Pool Noodle Shooter:
Take a cut section of the pool noodle.
Attach the Balloon:
Cut the top off of a balloon. Stretch the new opening of the balloon over the one end of the pool noodle shooter. Use duct tape to secure the balloon in place, ensuring it forms a tight seal. Tie the other end of the balloon. The balloon will serve as the launching mechanism for the pom poms.
Load and Launch:
Insert a pom pom into the open end of the pool noodle shooter, gently stretching the balloon back as you do so. Aim the shooter at your desired target, and release the stretched balloon to launch the pom pom through the air! Watch as it soars and enjoy the excitement of seeing how far it can go.

I’m so excited to share my crafting TV show Curious Crafting which launched in July 2022 on TVOkids and TVOkids YouTube! Season 2 airs in the summer of 2023! We were also nominated in 2023 for Best Live Action Preschool Series by the Youth Media Alliance Awards of Excellence.
Set in the ultimate crafting space, Curious Crafting is a short form pre-school age series about the joy of making crafts. I lead a rotating cast of adorable little preschoolers (including my own) making magic out of common household objects.
In each episode we transform recycled items into magical crafts like a milk carton school bus, paper bag puppet or cotton pad turtle. The crafters learn and laugh their way through each activity while demonstrating what their young imaginations can create.
