My list of easy to make ladybug crafts are the perfect answer to a rainy spring or summer day at home or in the classroom with toddlers or preschooler. These ladybug crafts include everything from painting to cutting and more.

When we first moved into our home, the first warm day of spring brought out hundreds of tiny black and red ladybugs. And although we didn’t appreciate having them inside our home they did make for great inspiration for many adorable lady bug crafts with my toddlers.

We love their vibrant red colored bodies and the contrasting black polka dots on their backs making them such an iconic little insect!

I did some research and found out that ladybugs tend to live outdoors until the weather turn cool in the fall and then they move indoors. As it turned out my new house was their winter home!

This list of ladybug crafts is always being added to to you will never run out of fun ideas to make with your kids!

TV Show: Curious Crafting

I’m so excited to finally share my new crafting TV show Curious Crafting which launched July 1 at on TVOkids and TVOkids YouTube!

Set in the ultimate crafting space, Curious Crafting is a short form pre-school age series about the joy of making crafts. I lead a rotating cast of adorable little preschoolers (including my own) making magic out of common household objects.

In each episode we transform recycled items into magical crafts like a milk carton school bus, paper bag puppet or cotton pad turtle. The crafters learn and laugh their way through each activity while demonstrating what their young imaginations can create.

Curious Crafting shares the adventure and joy of making art with takeaway lessons for creating crafts at home.

This show designed for toddlers and preschoolers 2.5 years old and up.
