  1. Fold a sheet of printer paper in half and cut it.
  2. Draw the face of a skull on each half.
  1. Fold it in half and make about 1 inch cuts all along the paper. Don’t cut all the way to the end.
  2. Unfold it and glue to two ends together using a glue stick.
  3. Repeat with two or three more skulls or as many as desired.
  1. Cut two 1 inch strips out of black construction paper and glue one end of the strips to the top of the lantern and the other end to the other side. Glue the other strip to the other sides of the top of the lanterns.
  1. Make the paper chain garland. Cut 1 inch strips about 5 inches long.
  2. Glue the ends together to make a circle. Slide another strip through the circle and glue the ends together. Continue to make a chain as long as desired.

TV Show: Curious Crafting

I’m so excited to finally share my new crafting TV show Curious Crafting which launched July 1 at on TVOkids and TVOkids YouTube!

Set in the ultimate crafting space, Curious Crafting is a short form pre-school age series about the joy of making crafts. I lead a rotating cast of adorable little preschoolers (including my own) making magic out of common household objects.

In each episode we transform recycled items into magical crafts like a milk carton school bus, paper bag puppet or cotton pad turtle. The crafters learn and laugh their way through each activity while demonstrating what their young imaginations can create.

Curious Crafting shares the adventure and joy of making art with takeaway lessons for creating crafts at home.

This show designed for toddlers and preschoolers 2.5 years old and up.
