How to Set Up Apple Soup Sensory Bin

Grab your sensory bin or sensory table and fill it with about 1 to 2 inches of water. Add a drop of red food colouring. Add your apple toys, bowls and scooper and spoons.

How to Play

This was a lot of fun for my preschoolers and they immediately wanted spoons and gather the apples to make a soup. But I wanted to sneak in a little learning first so I asked one twin to sort all the apples with worms and another twin to sort all the apples with leaves. Then they sorted them by size.

I added some toy barrels to help they sort. This was a huge hit and would be a great activity outside on a warm fall day!

Age Suitability

This activity is good for kids 2 years and up. My kids are 3.5, 3.5, and 7 year old.
