How to Make a Giant Paper Bag Snowflakes
- Grab 9 white or brown paper bags. Line them all up so that the tops of the bags are all facing the same way.
- Glue the bags together by putting glue only along the middle and bottom of the bags in a T shape.
- Cut out triangles from card stock and invite your child to trace a triangle on either side of the bags (with the tops facing up).
- Invite them to draw a C and a backwards C on the top corners of the the paper bag.
- Adult activity: Cut along the lines cut the shapes hour child has drawn.
- Spread out the snowflake and check out your design!!
- Glue the two last bags ends together in the same T-shape.
Time to Decorate the Paper Bag Snowflakes
- Decorate your snowflake with watercolor paint, regular washable paints or paint sticks.
- Set them aside to dry.
- In the mean time, decorate the string with beads and colourful paper straws. Thread an embroidery needle and thread wooden beads and paper straws on the string.
- Use a hold punch to create a hole at the top of the snowflake.
- Thread string through the hole and tie it into a knot.
- Hangs it up and make more!
