This craft is alot of fun and involves painting with tissue paper! But not just any tissue paper – bleeding tissue paper. This is the tight of tissue you paper you wouldn’t want to wrap gifts in. Bleeding tissue actually bleed colour when it gets wet! Thus is makes a great way to create this adorable pumpkin craft for any toddler or preschooler! To paint with bleeding tissue paper you don’t need a lot of water, so only fill up the bowl with a small amount of water.

That being said, toddlers and preschoolers will be well toddlers and preschoolers so I suggest to help contain any potential mess to have them do this craft inside of a baking dish. I also suggest doubling up on the paper plates!

Set in the ultimate crafting space, Curious Crafting is a short form pre-school age series about the joy of making crafts. I lead a rotating cast of adorable little preschoolers (including my own) making magic out of common household objects.

In each episode we transform recycled items into magical crafts like a milk carton school bus, paper bag puppet or cotton pad turtle. The crafters learn and laugh their way through each activity while demonstrating what their young imaginations can create.

Curious Crafting shares the adventure and joy of making art with takeaway lessons for creating crafts at home.
